?Nicholas Brooks has been charged in the death of Sylvie Cachay, the swimsuit designer found dead in a bathtub at the SoHo House on Thursday, reports the New York Post. Brooks is still being held at the 6th Precinct, where he's been booked on the felony offense of attempted murder in the second degree and strangulation, which was just signed into law by Governor Paterson " to cover domestic assaults where a victim's airways are constricted." Cachay had reportedly broken up with Brooks the day before she died.
